Everything started with these pictures below - in spring 1999, TIDAL was founded with one model to start with: the Piano. And what one sees here are the original photos and details of it from back then. It reflects exactly what started the reputation we earned and have today: timeless results, timeless quality, timeless design.
All of this was based on the decision to build the very best audio masterpieces we could imagine, and for that, one has to think inside the products, beyond skin-deep beauty only. If one sees the cut-through of the speaker, it shall be easy to agree that even now, 27 years later, it is miles away from being a trivial box and shows what kind of a company TIDAL was from the very beginning.
Also, the quality of the crossover parts and how they are implemented set a new standard back then. To wrap it up from there: since then, we have designed and developed technologies and solutions far beyond our first product. And that knowledge and experience now finds its way into a new entry masterpiece.
Jumping forward, 2026: The TIDAL Piano Classic is a reinterpretation of our very first product, a root back to our heritage - combined with the latest technologies, materials, and detail solutions. It comes with the DNA fingerprint of what TIDAL is all about: building timeless masterpieces with the unique crystal clear and naturally most pure sound. A sound which can’t be photographed nor described, and which paved the road to where we are today.
And everything started with this, at first sight, simple black column. But exactly this is what formed our reputation, second-to-none effort for ultimate performance, embedded in a crystal-clear design language.

- multi chamber cabinet made out of waterproof HDF
- 1 x exclusive 30 mm (1,2") black-ceramic tweeter mechanically decoupled from the cabinet
- tweeter mounting cabinet made out of stainless steel and velvet-coated aluminum frontplate
